Privacy Policy

Last updated June 15, 2026

AdMogged is built to need very little about you. This explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The menu-bar app builds no profile of you, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. The short version

We do not sell your personal information, and we are not going to. The app builds no profile of you. We collect only what we need to run the auction, show one ad at a time, and pay you for displaying it. The rest of this page is the detail behind those sentences.

2. What the Mac app collects

The app fetches the current ad from our servers and goes nowhere else. It does not read your screen, your files, or your browsing, and it builds no profile on you. Because it is open source, you can read exactly what it does.

To credit your earnings, the app tells our servers which account is displaying the ad and for how long. We use that only to calculate payouts, not to track or profile you.

When the app contacts our servers it sends basic technical data, such as your internet protocol (IP) address and the app version. We use this to keep the service secure and working, and to make payouts accurate.

3. What the service collects

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the credentials needed to sign you in, through our authentication provider.

To run earnings and payouts, we keep records of your activity in the auction, such as which ads your app displayed, for how long, and the amounts you have earned and been paid. For advertisers, we collect the information needed to run your bids and bill you.

In the language of US privacy laws, the categories we handle are identifiers (such as your email and device or network identifiers), commercial information (your auction and earnings activity), internet or network activity (such as app version and request logs), and financial information used for payouts (handled through Stripe). We collect this from you, from your use of the app, and from Stripe. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for our own purposes.

4. Payments and Stripe

Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe. When you provide personal data in connection with AdMogged, Stripe receives that personal data and processes it in accordance with the Stripe Privacy Policy.

The identity information required to pay you (the KYC check) is collected and held by Stripe, not by us. We receive limited confirmation and payout status from Stripe, such as whether your identity check passed and whether a payout succeeded. We do not receive or store your identity documents.

5. How we use information

We use what we collect to run the auction, show the current ad, calculate and send your payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, meet tax and other legal obligations, and respond when you contact us.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

6. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws. We have not sold or shared personal information in the past twelve months, and we do not plan to.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for you to opt out of in that respect. You can still exercise the rights described below.

7. Aggregated and anonymized data

We may create aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for example the total number of users who saw an ad, or how a campaign performed across all users. We may use, share, or sell this kind of information.

Before we do, we remove identifiers so the information is not reasonably linkable to you or your device, we keep it only in aggregated or deidentified form, we commit not to try to re-identify it, and we require anyone who receives it to do the same. Under US privacy laws, aggregated and deidentified information is not personal information, so this is consistent with the section above. We will never sell information that identifies you.

8. Who we share information with

We share information with the service providers that help us run AdMogged, under contracts that limit them to working on our behalf. These include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare)
  • Account sign-in (our authentication provider)
  • Payments and payouts (Stripe)

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the service and its users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business. We are not a data broker, and we do not sell personal information.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Texas, and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to delete it.

To make a request, email us at soundonyxinc@gmail.com. We will verify your request as the law requires and respond within the required time. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time. The one exception is the payout records that Stripe has to keep for tax and anti-fraud rules, which stay with Stripe rather than with us.

10. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. We keep payout and tax records for as long as the law requires, and Stripe keeps its own records under its policies.

11. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

12. Children

AdMogged is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

13. Where we operate

We run AdMogged from the United States, and earning is limited to US-based users at launch. If you use the service from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When changes are material, we will update the date above and give notice where reasonable. We review this policy at least once a year.
